Cherry Lodge is a small, friendly residential care home providing accommodation, personal care and dementia care for up to 19 guests living with the frailties of old age, physical disability, memory-loss or early stage to advanced dementia. It is located in a large converted residential home approx. 0.9 miles from the town centre and was established in 1988. There is warm, inviting and homely atmosphere. The management and many members of staff have worked together for many years. They treat each guest as part of the family. Fresh home-cooked meals are served and a range of activities is available to meet all needs. Guests are encouraged to pursue hobbies and interests. A garden and greenhouse offer calm and relaxing spaces to enjoy with family and friends in warmer months.
